More About “Ghosts & Gangsters”

Join Troy Taylor as we journey back to a century past and follow the trail of gangster Al Capone from the slums of Brooklyn to the luxurious nightclubs and hotels of Chicago and reveal his meteoric rise to the top of the criminal underworld at the age of only 25. Capone became one of the wealthiest men in the world with scores of speakeasies, brothels, and gambling houses under his control and an army of gunmen — and police officers — ready to carry out his orders. But no matter how powerful he became, Capone lived in fear — haunted by the vengeful spirit of one of his victims.

Find out what made Chicago roar in the 1920s and see the world of Big Jim Colosimo, John Torrio, the “Terrible Gennas,”” Dean O’Banion, and, of course, Al Capone brought to life during this presentation — which is not for the faint of heart. Come along for the rise and fall of the gangs of Chicago, the Beer Wars, the dirty cops and politicians, the deadly shootings, and the other terrifying events that left restless spirits in their wake.

You may think you know ALL the stories of Chicago in the Prohibition era, but those were only the beginning!
